Comfy bed, stressed staff, and drippy tap

Pros: The room was quiet and spacious, divided into a number of smaller areas; the bed was very comfortable. Cons: We've been coming here for years as a treat when visiting family, but sadly I think it's time to find a new Harrogate base. The room itself was comfortable and the bed was great, but the shower (in an echoey cubicle on the other side of the bedroom, separate from the bathroom) was lukewarm and dripped loudly all night onto the disconcertingly abbatoir-esque metal tray. There had been a systems problem which meant we couldn't get a room key and needed escorting to our room whenever

Pros: Basement room was exceptional Cons: Staff member struggled to understand ( language barrier) the problem with the second room booked
