It was good.
Pros: I enjoyed a fresh and delicious breakfast. Cons: When I looked up the directions on the internet, it said to walk out of the south exit of Mito Station and walk along the deck. It said to go down the stairs on the left, but I couldn't find them. When I walked out of the south exit, I thought going down the stairs on the right would be closer, but maybe I'm bad with directions?

Nice hotel very close to train station
Pros: I was able to get a 'family' room - a Ryokan style room in this case. There didn't seem to be that many options for 3+ people near the train station in Mito. I was traveling with teenagers so having a large spacious room was important! We enjoyed it and of course Mito is very affordable compared to the bigger cities. The hotel was significantly less than the two hotels attached to the train station but is really only an extra 2-3 minutes of walking to get there. It is a great location to see the Mito attractions --> Kairuken garden and the Kodokan. The Oarai aquarium is not far by train/

The staff's response was good. It was a clean room.
It was very good.
Pros: The room was spacious and had a view of Senba Lake. Cons: The bathroom ventilation was weak and the slight smell bothered me.
