Pros: Wonderful location on S Congress close to restaurants and entertainment, and a short walk away from the Capitol. Cons: On the pricey side if you’re just looking for a play to stay after you’re done playing in Austin.

Pros: The hotel feels like staying in a tree house. Great location for walking distance from shops and restaurants. Great pool, wish it had more seating. Cons: Door to the bathroom in our room was a pocket door and difficult to pull out and very loud. Small thing but besides that everything was great!

Perfect Oasis in the heart of Austin, TX
I always love staying at Hotel Magdalena as a staycation, since I live in Austin. Its like an oasis right off South Congress, so you are able to relax in the comfortable rooms, enjoy their beautiful pool surrounded by trees & then just few steps away are amazing shops & restaurants, including Summer House on their property. The food & drinks are definitely elevated compared to other hotels. I can't wait to go back!

Pros: The location near congress ave was perfect. Easy to walk to Many stores, restaurants, and live music venues. Cons: The elevator button was not working. This made it more inconvenient for packing luggage up and down.
