Pros: The hotel is as shown in the photos and the room I chose. It is located 10 minutes walk from Otsuka station and 20 minutes from Ikebukuro. A supermarket and several convenience stores are very close by. The room was clean and suited me very well, but maybe a little tight for 2 people. Also, you have to throw away your trash yourself! Cons: The hotel is located 10 minutes from a JR station, but it didn't bother me.

Pros: We had an excellent stay at MYSTAYS Higashi Ikebukuro hotel. The room was very clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. The staff was always very welcoming, smiling, and available to answer all our questions. The location is perfect, close to public transportation, shops, and many restaurants, making it very easy to visit Tokyo. Despite the liveliness of the neighborhood, the hotel is quiet and we slept very well. A big thank you also for the luggage service. Pros: The location is close to Sunshine City in Ikebukuro, with convenience stores and supermarkets nearby. The Arakawa Line train was also a consideration in the initial selection. Cons: The cleanliness really needs to be improved
