A centrally located, very comfortable and clean hotel
Pros: It is very central, right in the main square and a 10-minute walk straight to the river. Everything was very clean and comfortable. Comfortable beds and all renovated. Cons: What we liked least was the lack of privacy in the bathrooms, they have a glass door, but they were good and clean.

It really spoiled our experience of Porto.
Pros: Room was quiet, cool and dark. Location is very central on the main square. The shower is strong. Clean sheets and towels. Cons: Upon entering, I found the place old-fashioned and unattractive. The receptionist at check-in was very unfriendly, we arrived tired from our travels and a bit slow trying to understand the payment method - she was impatient, snappy, and rude. I felt unsafe and unwelcome. My travel companion was also appalled. After a few minutes of conversation, I really wanted to leave and find somewhere else to stay but she wouldn’t let me cancel. It really spoiled our experi
