Excellent all around
Pros: We were very lucky with our room. Large, spacious, my partner is 1.93cm tall and we were very comfortable. It doesn't have air conditioning but the temperature in Amsterdam is very good and it wasn't necessary. Excellent staff and very good location. Cons: I see many reviews saying the rooms are small and uncomfortable, but ours was excellent.

Pleasant stay
Pros: Close to cafes, restaurants and local attractions. Clean room - nice reception lounge area. Cons: Very steep stairs to reach the room - not ideal if you have suitcases. Very warm room as there is no air conditioning - we opened windows and used a fan but it was still very warm.
