Very pleasant would stay again

Moody hotel for a short stay

Pros: Moody decor with a different point of view to what you’d expect from a hotel. Bathroom and walk in shower was great. Good location and within walking distance to great amenities. Some staff members were lovely and very helpful. Cons: Almost too dark! Couldn’t see in front of us walking in off the street. Access to rooms is from slightly behind reception, which felt odd especially when no one was at reception and had to wait to be let in. We stayed in a lovely room but it was somewhat tight for space and the bed was very firm.

Little Gem

Pros: The cabin room was small but perfectly formed with everything you could need. It was like being on the Orient Express. Very comfortable bed, a mirror that turns into a TV, and a nice shower/wet room. Packages were great value, and the Secret Garden was lovely for food and cocktails. The staff were charming... put our faith back in hotels... milk and cookies were a nice touch... will definitely be back. Cons: Nothing really... no natural light makes makeup a bit tricky but not insurmountable.
