Houseboat Little Amstel

Wonderful 1st houseboat stay. Will never book a hotel in Amsterdam again

Pros: Wonderful first houseboat experience. Great communication with the host, Andrew. He responded very quickly when I struggled to figure out the digital self check in. The houseboat is small and compact but is equipped with a smart TV, mini fridge and even a massage cushion, all enough for a short stay. Loved chilling out on the outdoor patio watching the world sail by. Close to all means of transport. Cons: Missed having the air con on when we needed it most as it was over 30c during our stay. Having the patio door open attracted too many unwanted flies and ants. Maybe a person motion sens

Pros: Lovely experience staying on a house boat Cons: Aircon was set for certain times and temp. During the night the unit was stuffy.

Pros: Room was great! The patio was wonderful. The room is small as stated, but the bed was comfortable and everything was updated. Highly recommend this property for a unique Amsterdam stay. It felt like a movie set. Cons: AC was automated so we did not have control over the temp. I informed the host that it did not turn on during the heat wave and that we had quite a stuffy stay, but he followed up quickly and said he would address it for future stays.

It was a comfortable, unique, and fun place to stay.

Pros: It was a unique place to stay on the Little Amstel. We enjoyed watching the boats sail by. The location was convenient with the Albert Cuyp Market, Metro, and grocery store close by. Cons: It was small.
