Charming hotel with patina
Pros: House in colonial style, a bit dated. The charm of the hotel makes up for a lot. Large rooms, breakfast a la carte (something for everyone) and a garden that invites you to linger with a glass of wine. We have been there for the fourth time now and still find it beautiful. Cons: The hotel could use a touch-up in some areas. The hotel bar was rarely staffed. But when we called for a service staff, we were well taken care of.
Old charm, a bit run-down
Pros: The location is very good and the house itself is beautiful. Unfortunately, nothing has been repaired or maintained in recent years. The house thrives on its old charm. Unfortunately, the restaurant no longer exists, only breakfast, which is exceptionally good. It is also difficult to enjoy a glass of wine on the terrace in the evening, no more staff, only the lady at the reception, who also goes off duty at the latest by 10 pm.
