could not fault the service
first do not get this mixed up with the one in Rose street we have stayed in a lot of hotels both here in the UK and a board. This one is one of the best all round one the staff with out exception were all out standing from the hotel manager to the staff help full the rooms bright and clean if in fact you can find better good luck to the hotel manager thank you for the pillows the yorkshire people
Good stay but very slow check in
Hotel was ideal for solo traveller. Room was big enough and very good nights sleep. Bar and lobby area very good too for a budget chain. Only problem was length of queue and waiting time to check in. Far too long.
Great stay and value for money
Stephania the receptionist was very helpful, nothing was too much trouble, thank you. The blind in my room didn't work so I could not open the window. Other than that a great stay.
Great Hotel .. my wife & I have stayed here several times
My wife and I have stayed here in 2023, 2024 (x2 times) 2025 and shall be returning in January 2026, which just goes to prove how much we like this hotel It is perfect for our needs, easy to get to and the staff are all brilliant. We opt for the slightly bigger room
Absolutely fine and affordable for solo travelers
Absolutely fine for a solo traveler and especially considering the usual hotel room prices in Edinburgh nowadays. Cosy room which had the basic facilities. Was a pleasant surprise to see the presence of a bar, and complimentary hot drinks in the lobby area. Excellent location within 2 minutes walk of the EICC and Haymarket Station, and 10 minutes from the historic centre
