Enjoyable stay in smart room on 2nd floor
Pros: Easy access in town centre. Smart decor. Tea/coffee making in room and shared kitchen. Cons: As mentioned by other guest shower is smart but very hard to use without making the floor of the shower room wet
No human interaction, but a great place to stay for a day or so.
Pros: I didn’t realise when booking that this was one of those places with no staff and codes to enter the building and the room, nevertheless the place was tidy and quiet despite overlooking the Main Street. This might not be the case at weekends of course. Our room was on the top floor which was a struggle for me as I’m disabled but manageable. Cons: The bannister rail up to the top floor was hanging off the wall and the cleaner needs to alert management before someone pulls it off completely and has an accident.

Pros: Room very comfortable. Pleasant seating area in garden. Lovely shower. Cons: Noise, particularly first night with two dogs howling opposite. Window was stuck open, but was fixed, upon request to the owner, the next day and thankfully somewhat quieter nights followed. We did enjoy our stay overall
A lovely location close to amazing restaurants and pubs, perfect for a short stay
The location in the centre of castle cary was perfect for local eateries, easy access to the Bath & West Show (my reason for staying), the thoughtful touch of having fans in the room (it was very hot during my stay) all made for a lovely stay
Ideal place for visiting the area, comfortable, central position and excellent liaison with owners, thank you.
Pros: Position, ideally situated in the centre of Castle Cary. A lovely kitchenette, no hob, with bifold doors opening onto the south facing garden, large bathroom, excellent shower with a comfortable bed and nice linen. Cons: Unfortunately we stayed during the hottest days of the year and the fan provided was too small, so would recommend bringing your own fan if the forecast is for hot weather.
