I stayed due to distance to train station, nothing more

Pros: It was noisy in the corridor and I don’t know what was making the noise in my room as it sounded like running water from another room Cons: See above

Good enough for a night away!

Pros: It was a short walk away from the prospect building which I was going to for a gig. It’s also right by temple meads which made getting home the following day easier. The room was clean. Decent enough for one night away! Cons: The shower head kept twisting around and made it awkward to actually use but that’s neither here nor there. I also thought the walls were a bit thin, could hear the couple in the next room at 1am.

Clean, modern and comfortable. Friendly staff. Very comfortable bed.

Convenient but increasingly soulless

Pros: Stayed many times over the years primarily as it’s so convenient for train station . The bed is comfortable and overall room is very clean . Cons: Lack of engagement with reception staff . Eg nobody seemed to care much about anything , when checking out nobody said very much at all . Main issue was with the food . I had dinner ( as I usually do there) it was awful . The fish was over cooked and tasted disgusting. I’ve usually had reasonably good food . Overall just felt like standards had slipped a lot .
