Ink 48 Hotel

Great staff, close to cruise ship terminal, a few blocks from subway lines to go anywhere.

The city view from the room was great, the rooms seemed soundproof and the area was overall quiet! Nice walking distance to a lot of fun things.

The staff was one of the most friendly I have encountered in my various stays in New York. From the doorman who helped us get our bags from the Uber to the team at the desk during checkout, we were greeted with smiles and friendliness. The restaurant inside the lobby was amazing, and the food fantastic also. Location is fantastic if you are heading out on a cruise.

David, one of the managers, was brilliant, definitely went above and beyond. Couple of annoying things, no shower gel/shampoo. Mini bar prices (considering the cost of the room) bit OTT $9 for a bottle of water! Come on guys!

Don’t stay at ink48 stay somewhere else.

This hotel was one of the worst places I’ve ever stayed at front the man at the front desk that checked us that was rude. The bathtub had orange water coming out and would never fill up, the paint falling in my eyes and hair in the shower. The bed was hard as a rock. The blatant female streetwalkers out front and up and down the street. Don’t go out at night alone. Not safe at all. Lots of drug dealers out. Don’t reserve the Hudson suite. Total ripoff. Room falling apart and no view. Would not recommend this hotel. Only plus is it’s close to the cruise port not worth almost 700 I spent.
