Cancer free oasis
I greatly appreciated the room upgrade for being IHG Platinum member. We visit MD Anderson quarterly for consultations regarding my cancer. It helps to have a nice room when I try to sleep the night before I receive my test results. I am cancer free for 21 months, and I am grateful.
Amazing hotel!
Amazing hotel! I was able to experience a great stay. Beautiful room and great foods at the executive lounge.
Disappointing Experience
I was very shocked by the completely new staff at the Bar and restaurant. The new valet also needs serious training for improvement. The Bar staff needs classy outfits and better training for service. I normally stay at the intercontinental regularly when attending HLSR and my doctor's appointments. This whole experience is more on the level of a Holiday Inn Express. But even the Galliera Holiday Inn as more class than the Intercontinental right now. I also was shocked by the group of white Geto bring in Grubhub and setting up dinner on the bar from Torches Taco. Zero respect for the other gue

The shower and bathroom floor was covered in hair. The beds were uncomfortable and the pillows were also lacking. 0 out of 10. Will never book again. I booked here since it was close to take my mom to Md Anderson but I should’ve booked the doubletree. It was clean and closer

Pros: There was a shuttle Cons: Our room wasn’t cleaned when we came back to the room, they just took all the towels. We had to call the reception and asked for bringing towels. We had to do call the reception again after having waited an half hour in a wet swimming suits. They finally brought some towels but we were so cold by then. Very windy pool site. Went there three times to watch World Cup games but it was so windy and had to keep all my plates and cup from flying away.
