Perfect hotel
The front desk concierge who greeted me and got our room was very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was delicious, the hotel is beautiful and you can’t beat the location right on the river overlooking the castle and within walking distance to the city shops and restaurants! We came all the way from San Diego California and had a great experience visiting Inverness.
It was a perfect for a short break away. Staff, food and facilities were excellent.

Inverness stay
Pros: Great location on the river. Bar and restaraunt very nice and plush. We ate in the bar and the food and service were both very good. The food in the bar was reasonably priced, too. In terms of our room, it was a decent size and the bed was comfortable. Cons: We paid £288 for B&B, and we're seeking something a bit more upmarket after completing the NC500. However, we would have been better off booking a local business. This is NOT value for money. It is a 3* hotel dressed up as 4*. Our room overlooked a roof (awful outlook). The bathroom is small and the shower isn't fit for purpose and
