Nice boutique hotel with very friendly and helpful staff.
Pros: Very responsive and helpful staff throughout the hotel from manager to door attendants, receptionists, concierge, restaurant service persons, bar person and housekeeper. Excellent breakfast with good menu choices for both western and Asian tastes. Cons: A little on the small side, especially the ground floor reception and happy hour area

Newish stylish
My 2nd stay here The good: - nice location in Da an with Sogo, Cosmed, Family mart. Also M One cafe and Orange Shabu hotpot - newish and stylish from 2019. Think W from marriott or Andaz from hyatt. Sheraton and Regent taipei too old in comparison - if normal breakfast too heavy, there are complimentary pastries and coffee/tea at the lobby The neutral: - taiwan hotels no longer provide amenities but you can request at front desk The not so good: - Kimpton goes 1 step further and don’t provide water either. Though you can get from the gym - the gym is tiny with 2 treadmills, not much else - tv
