Great disappointment - way too expensive, lack of comfort

Pros: Nothing, we were disappointed. The apartment has nothing to do with the promising photos online. Beds okay. Cons: The studio has aged badly, gloomy atmosphere, faded paint, questionable cleanliness and we even found a cockroach (a first after 3 weeks of traveling in Malaysia). The bath towels smell bad, the bathroom is humid and dotted with stains (mold), it smells musty and damp. Shower curtain cut a meter from the floor, so the bathroom is flooded after a shower. The shower head leaks. In short, no comfort for a way too high price.

The owner did not reply to my WhatsApp messages regarding my booking, which made communication very difficult. When I arrived, I was given a different room instead of the one that was advertised and booked. This was frustrating because the room I received did not match my expectations based on the listing. I hope the owner can improve communication and ensure guests receive the room they actually book.

First of all, the entrance is nowhere to be found, and when you do find it, there is a guard who does not speak English and then you have to get your key from a safe where there are all sorts of parking tickets. The shower water also does not get hot.

There's no WiFi available

Pros: Good location, the hotel is clean and shops are nearby. Cons: I contacted the owner to let them know that the Wi-Fi was not connecting to either my phone or my computer. I was told that someone would come to fix the issue, but unfortunately no one ever came. I followed up again the next day to check on the situation, but I did not receive any response. Reliable Wi-Fi is an important service for guests, and it was disappointing not only that the issue was not resolved, but also that there was no follow-up or accountability after it was reported. I hope the owner takes more responsibility
