Whether you are a fan of GR or cycling, the Marmotte is perfect

Reminder: La Marmotte de la Meije is a lodge whose clientele is almost entirely made up of hiking or cycling enthusiasts. As an octogenarian not accustomed to the spartan environment of refuges, I was a misfit among the other clients. Yet, I will keep an excellent memory of this stay, and the credit goes to the couple of owners whose extremely friendly and caring welcome puts everyone at ease and who spare no effort to satisfy the clients. And the homemade cuisine is abundant and delicious. I highly recommend it to enthusiasts of the aforementioned summer activities.

An octogenarian not accustomed to the spartan environment of mountain huts, I was a miscast among the other guests. And yet, I will keep an excellent memory of this stay, and the credit goes to the couple of owners whose extremely friendly and caring welcome puts everyone at ease and who spare no effort to satisfy the customers. And the homemade cuisine is abundant and tasty. I highly recommend it to enthusiasts of the aforementioned summer activities.
