Pros: The room was clean. Fantastic location just a few steps from the metro and city center. Good breakfast and very kind and helpful breakfast staff. Rooms very quiet but mine overlooked a wall. Cons: I had booked a city view room but it overlooked a wall. At check-in, they requested a deposit of 100 euros per night. The property should write on the reservation or send an email before arrival to inform the guest of the deposit. The reception staff sometimes gave vague information to some of our questions.

Worn out hotel still super comfy and quiet. You get what you pay for.
Pros: The beds are very comfortable and the room was very quiet, good for sleeping Cons: The hotel is much more worn out than when we were there 7 years ago. Shower drain was broken, sink cracked, closet door glass broken. Nothing fixed I assume because the hotel is undergoing renovations. They just put down flooring in the lobby and smelled of glue. So what I didn't like was not being warned that the standard would be low due to pending and ongoing renovations.
