In summary it was fine. Not terrible, not great.

Pros: Location was well suited for my needs. The lobby and entryway to the hotel was nice, well lit and nicely decorated. Check-in was straightforward and I like that check out was a little later. Breakfast was decent and had everything we needed with a good amount of choice. Staff were fine and helpful when needed. Cons: The room and upstairs beyond the public areas were dated. The bathroom seemed very tired, and certainly neither would have suffered from a freshen up or an upgrade. I think the main issue unfortunately was the discomfort of the bed which led to a very poor night's sleep.
