Great breakfast, friendly staff, good location in a period property. But room needs serious refresh, car parking is a 5

Pros: Breakfast was excellent, friendly staff, great location & lovely period property. Price point was good value considering. Cons: Sound insulation was terrible, lady with a hair dryer next door sounded like she was in the corner of my room! Rooms need serious updating, the 2 clear plastic chairs just didn’t look right. Car park arrangements are dire with a 5 minute walk down the hill to get to a multi storey so wouldn’t recommend if you have to drive.

Great location and a decent hotel

Pros: The location was great - a short distance from the station, the cathedral and the tram lines. The room was comfortable but small, and the breakfast was fine, but not exceptional Cons: Bathroom could have been a bit cleaner

It was close to Bars and restaurants, a bit noisy, just people chatting, but to be honest, it was pleasant, and didn't disturb me and I quickly fell asleep once I went to my room. Cons: I can't think of anything I didn't like, I suppose maybe the room came at decent price for a nice hotel, but then I had to pay £16 for 24hr parking at another location, not too bad a price for city parking, 24hrs, which gave me plenty of t
