Complete disappointment

Pros: Great location between the beach and downtown Pacific Grove. Bed was properly firm. Cons: We booked a suite. A very expensive suite. Pocket doors between the bedroom and living area would not close. There was a small kitchenette but no table or desk to sit and eat at. Gas fireplace was unusable because it immediately triggered the carbon monoxide sensor above it. Complaints to staff were treated with indifference, “oh, those doors never close” and “we never have tables”. Then there were the spiders in a web in the kitchenette, a shower curtain that was both too short and ripped at

Too much cost for too little lodging.

Pros: Breakfast was practically nonexistent. Terrible so-called continental breakfast. Cons: Not what I expected. I would never stay here again. I would never recommend it to anyone.

Location is great

Fantastic location, good breakfast and large room. Uncomfortable pullout couch but main bed fine. Great staff. Easy walk to ocean.

Overall great stay, & perfect location.

Pros: Great location and cozy. Very close to tourist spots but not so much that it was crowded. Loved how close it was to walk to the beach. Fireplace in the unit was cozy for the late night. Cons: AC unit was complex. I was unable to adjust the temp easily. 1st floor - No private balcony. It was open to the parking lot and the screen door was broken. It was uncomfortable leaving the door and curtain open.
