Lyndon House

Breakfast, cooked to order and huge.

Pros: Me and my friends have stayed at Lyndon House over 20 times and that in it's self tell you we have enjoyed staying there, the hotel is clean and the staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are fairly basic but we only need a bed and the bar downstairs is a bonus. Cons: As I have said me and friends have stayed here over 20 times and in the past the hot water has been a little to hot but this time the water from the tap was hardly warm and made showering unpleasant. The location for breakfast has changed from the top dinning area to a basement room which is fine but the breakfast was th

Cons: The dinning area was very small it ,been moved from were it was before was not inpressed

Good for our needs

Comfortable bed

Disappointing.

Pros: Not much... Cons: It appears the Lyndon has changed ownership (again) - no parking available, breakfast has now moved to a smaller room downstairs, cases have to be carried up several flights of stairs.... we have stayed at the Lyndon at least twice a year for the last several years, but alas, we will no longer.
