Outstanding Vacation in New Orleans

I arrived at Maison Dupuy in New Orleans on March 23, 2026, in the mid-afternoon. The staff were welcoming, and I asked for a quiet room with a nice view. I was given Room 312 on the 3rd floor. The room had a beautiful view of the hotel's traditional restored courtyard, with trees and a pool below. It was fairly large and featured French doors leading to a balcony overlooking the courtyard. The room had a large bed, a flat-screen TV, and a nice bathroom. The décor was traditional, attractive, clean, and comfortable. Housekeeping was excellent, with the room serviced each day. Dnt waste your money

Will not be returning. Curtains were dirty carpet dirty ac did not work until the last day no fridge or microwave in room pool not open in the middle of may. Pool was green (water)

But for the AC outage...

The room and staff were great, but the air conditioning was out. It was so hot in our room, and the hotel does not have enough fans for everyone who would need one if that were to happen again. Otherwise, everything was great.

Do not stay here

The hotel hacked my debit card. A few days after we checked out we started getting a bunch of large charges from them on my debit card. I had to cancel my card and the hotel has been no help in resolving.

OK, but no restaurant!

We checked in late in the evening on 2/9. Desk clerk told us breakfast was 7:30-10:30 a.m. in the bar/restaurant. Nope. The bar/restaurant has been closed since we arrived. No warning on website. Staff speak sheepishly of cutbacks due to renovation. The doorman has disappeared. What's going on here?
