It’s not that our experience was terrible, it just wasn’t what we expected

It’s not that our experience was terrible, it just wasn’t what we expected. We paid for two lovely rooms at the Inn - we arrived to learn that we were moved to a villa 3 -4 kilometers away from the Inn and town. We had our own place - but no interaction with other travelers or breakfast or coffee. It was nice, but not the experience we were paying for. The host is lovely - I’m guessing someone over-booked and he was trying to accommodate everyone.

Nice location, shielded from the village with a beautiful inner courtyard. We were a bit early which startled the owner, unfriendly reception as a result.

Beautiful antique house, service could be improved

The house we stayed in was very nice indeed. The service, however, as a guest is impersonal as it does not feel like a hotel.
