I came back to Maison and this time stayed in one of their superior suites. I can genuinely say that I have rarely slept so well in a hotel.
At first I was slightly worried because the room faced the street, and I am extremely sensitive to outside noise, but in the end I heard absolutely nothing. The room was wonderfully quiet, enormous, beautifully comfortable and simply perfect.
The welcome was, as always, warm, affectionate and genuinely personal — one of those details that makes you immediately feel at home.
