The hotel itself is functional and comfortable

We stayed here during our visit to Galway and had a good experience overall. The hotel is around a 20-minute walk from the city centre, or you can take a taxi for around €15. The hotel itself is functional and comfortable, and the parking is really good, which was very convenient for us. It’s a great option if you’re travelling by car, as there is plenty of parking and it’s included in the room price. The staff were also very friendly and helpful. A special mention to Marina at reception, who gave us some great recommendations and tips for visiting the city. The breakfast was quite complete

Pros: Lovely staff, good value and good location Cons: Breakfast was a bit disappointing. Some of the fried potatoes were very undercooked as were the boiled eggs. Scrambled eggs were very poor and no fried eggs available that I could see.

Pros: Buona colazione, buon ristorante, camera spaziosa e pulita. Cons: La posizione è decentrata rispetto al centro. I materassi andrebbero rinnovati.

Pros: Great reliable Maldron you can count on. Decent beds, decent food, nice staff - in accordance with the name. Cons: Perhaps, the choice of meals and wines in the restaurant.
