Malmaison Edinburgh City

Perfect actually!

Pros: It looks small but has lots of wonderful levels. It is on a hill so ground level is the 4th floor! It is walking distance of Princess Street but without the chaos of loads of shoppers. Also, very near Waverley train station. It had an excellent restaurant although it was on the pricey side! However, it was worth it. The staff were very good and showed an real interest in their customers. Cons: I can’t really think of a downside. Even breakfast was superb and passed the ‘genuinely fresh scrambled egg test’.
