Well worth the money - close to the station & I will definitely stay here again 😀

Lovely hotel - I felt at home as soon as I got through the door. A friendly & easy check-in. Everything spotlessly clean, white cotton bedding, feather pillows, & pleasant furnishings with everything provided & in the right place. Fantastic cooked breakfast & evening cocktails were lovely. I stayed in a standard double & it had a huge bed, an opening window & lots of room. Bathroom felt opulent, everything worked. I can’t fault it. They even had a tribute to Dolly Parton up in reception in the morning as her death had been announced the night before.

Resting on its laurels. Needs staff training !!!

Pros: breakfast was nice and well produced Cons: low quality staff, v obviously poorly trained !! The staff at breakfast had obviously never been near any sort of training, no chat, passed plates across the table , no recall of what customer had ordered, no smiles, scruffy, as though they had walked in off the street !!! they should be trained !!!!!!! Reception staff were ok
