Noisy or freezing!

So the hotel has a choice of two sides, the road or the train track side. We were on the road side and the traffic does not let up all night long! To try and drown out the noise we used to aircon but this was set at 18 and not able to change in the room which I’ve never heard of before, so it was absolutely freezing! So we had a choice of listening to traffic all night or being freezing. Would not stay again but the room itself is furnished nicely and comfy bed, just a noise and temperature issue.

Disappointing standard of hotel

Pros: Central location Cons: Smell, dusty, old world, very old carpets, old furniture, cracks in the shower tray, etc . Not modern at all. Its past its use by date and needs a total renovation and modernisation. I cancelled my stay for the following week as I wouldn't look forward to staying there again.
