Pros: Nothing Cons: Location and size of the room

Great hotel but the location is not in a very nice neighborhood

People, staff was very friendly. In the evening, we wanted to have dinner at the hotel but there was only an option for a buffet with reservation. We were still able to use the menu in a corner. Then we were allowed to use the dessert buffet.

Well trained staff overall. Night staff needs a customer service refresher course

Pros: Morning front desk staff were polite, professional, and helpful. Cons: The check-in night staff member was unhelpful, unprofessional, and sloppy. She didn't provide enough information to ensure my comfort. There was no heating in the room and I was cold. No visible sockets to charge appliances. Furnishings are old, tired, and ugly.

Good stay at Manhattan.

Pros: I enjoyed almost every moment of my stay. A warm welcome by the gate officers and the ladies at the reception. I also liked the cleanliness of the room, comfortable bed, delicious buffet breakfast. The best thing the hotel offers is the shuttle to places around Pretoria. I was attending a workshop for two days, and the hotel shuttle took me to and from the hotel to Unisa without any extra charge. Cons: The only thing I noticed that the hotel may need to look at is the towels, they are no longer comfortable. To use them, you have to make them damp.
