Our stay at this hotel was spoiled by having our room downgraded on arrival. Although we booked and paid for a double room with a balcony we ended up with an dingy economy room without a balcony or anywhere to sit except the bed. All we got in compensation was an apology and some vouchers to use in the buffet dining hall (which only used a couple of times, as not much of a dining experience). So be warned. Upon arriving at the hotel in the evening, we discovered that there were no rooms available for us in the two rooms we'd booked months in advance. This was very disappointing! We spent our first night at the Best Western, a 15-minute drive away. Our hotel compensated for this inconvenience by offering us a free breakfast. The next day, we get a room, and because it was my birthday, a surprise awaited me in the room: a beautifully decorated bed, a cookie, and wine. This completely stole my heart. The guests were mostly elderly. The rooms facing the street were a bit noisy. The pools were great.
Our Worst Stay
Worst stay of out month long trip. Room 514 was claustrophobic with a small window looking out to a building with a hot air vent blowing upward. Smelled of mold. Had to access room from another building. Two elevators and a walk underground through a moldy smelling tunnel. Bathroom was good, Fridge was ok. Bed ok. Desk staff was curt and unfriendly. Should have asked for another room for the price point.
