Lovely relaxing stay
Great location, helpful staff and spotlessly clean.
Friendly helpful staff. Good breakfast
Comfortable well appointed quiet room
Wonderful two night stay at the Marlborough Arms in Woodstock!
Pros: Perfect location to visit Blenheim and The farmers Dog. Woodstock has a choice of places to eat so finding an evening meal was simple as the Marlborough Arms doesn't serve meals in the evening. The breakfast is superb with a good choice of hot and cold foods. The room was comfortable and a very good size with everything we needed for a very comfortable 2 night stay. Finally the staff are exceptional! We would definitely stay again. Cons: Nothing to note.
Pros: The location is exceptional, very close to a grocery shop, cafés, and small local shops, and only a 10‑minute walk from Blenheim Palace. The staff are very polite, caring, and assisting. The room was clean, and overall it’s a clean, well‑kept place. There is good water pressure in the shower and a coffee and tea making station in the room, which is convenient. Cons: The buildings are extremely old and not taken care of from inside , a complete disaster. Everything is very dated, and it’s clear the owners are not investing in maintenance. The furniture is awful and should not be used anym
