McCormick Place Guest House

Pros: Only the place was good and the service is so bad that we had all the property for ourselves Cons: No one to coordinate or contact if we need something, and one guy from staff was even saying they don't care about negative reviews and they will continue to provide worst service. They even charged 300$ deposit which is not returned even after 3 days of vacating. They don't respond on calls, they say they respond faster on text messages but they don't even respond on text messages, my advice to booking.com, please remove this property from your site .

Pros: No pude alojarme en esta casa devido a que me estaba pidiendo dinero extra por zell oh venmo y senti que era una estafa perdi mi dinero estaban pidiendo 500 dolres por zell tengo mucho tiempo alojandome y es primero ves escucho que hay que mandar dinero por zell pesimo comuniciion y el anfitrión nunca me contesto solo por mensajes que creo q era no el Cons: No me gusto es pesimo no intenten alojarse aqui ya que ban a tener un dolor de cabeza yo tube que buscar dinde dormir por culpa de ellos.

Pros: I never got to stay in the room to begin with, because on the way there I was shocked when I received the email asking me to pay a $500 deposit using my debit card (that was specified) in order to unlock the door for me! Cons: Having to pay a deposit is something that was not disclosed at the time of the booking! And asking specifically for a debit card was completely inconvenient. What if I didn't have the money for that!!! Plus, the email even sounded like it was a scam, and I was reluctant to continue with payment. Even the Uber driver advised against that. Pros: N/A Cons: They asked for a "security deposit" before they would give directions of how to get into the hotel (actually a house). No actual hotel would ask for a payment through Venmo or Zelle.
