Central Location, But Overpriced and Underwhelming

Hotel Madrid Reina Victoria is perfectly located for exploring Madrid, and we appreciated being checked in early after our long flight from the U.S.—a thoughtful gesture that started things off well. Unfortunately, the rest of the stay didn’t live up to expectations. The surrounding construction was a major disappointment. It stripped away the charm of the area, making it impossible to enjoy even the plaza in front of the hotel. The bed was too soft for my liking—far from the comfort of Hotel Colón Gran Meliá in Sevilla. Toilet paper was surprisingly rough, which added to the discomfort. We

sensationelle Lage, sehr freundliches personal, außergewöhnliches Bad, sehr gutes frühstück (als deutscher; fehlen vielleicht nur ein Paar verschiedene Sorten von Brötchen).
