Melrose Guest House

Definitely recommended if looking for a small bed & breakfast boarding house in Douglas.

Pros: Ideal location near Douglas Town Centre shops, Promenade, Harbour and Railway Station although the tramway is a little further to walk. Excellent full breakfast cooked to order every morning and the rooms are clean and tidy, serviced every day and have modern, if not brand new bathroom fittings. On the final day guests can keep the room until later in the day if it not already booked by another guest. Cons: The only drawback would be for guests with mobility problems as the stairs to the rooms are narrow and steep and in a property of this size obviously there is no lift.

Had fantastic 4 nights in Douglas and it’s a beautiful island which I will be returning to 100%

Pros: The property was clean and tidy. Fresh towels and tea & coffee stocked up upon arrival after being out all day . Cons: Nothing

Good location for buses to other places on the island nothing to dislike
