Cheap , convenient and unwelcoming

Pros: Good location off motorway network Cons: Dated property and very old fashioned rooms. Reception on check in was cold and abrupt

Cheap but sadly not cheerful

Pros: Staff were welcoming Cons: We actually couldn’t stay and left very late. Not clean, out dated and even hairs in the bed. Very disappointing.

excellent location . beautiful setting. will stay there again. Can not think why it was not full.

Pros: large well equipped bedroom with four poster bed. Good quality curtains/chairs. very comfortable overall. staff friendly and attentive. Bar menu good with prompt service and nicely cooked / presented food. very good breakfast in a relaxed newly renovated/decorated room. hotel overall well maintained and decorated in appropriate style. lovely garden areas. Cons: woken early by central heating pipes springing into life very loudly.
