A modern hotel good for a short stay.

Pros: Air conditioning in our room made it a comfortable stay in hot weather. The staff were friendly and obliging when we reported a problem sorting out the issue quickly. Plenty of car park space. Cons: We were perturbed to find used towels left on the back of the door in the ensuite, suggesting that the room wasn't cleaned as carefully as we would expect. The hanging space for clothes was too short for hanging anything longer than suits and lack of any storage would be a problem if staying longer.

Pros: The staff was friendly and the bed was quite comfortable Cons: There was hardly any milk, tea bags, etc. The kettle was full of water obviously from a previous person staying in the room. The room could have done with being a bit cleaner as there was some dust in places

Ideal location from Harwich ferry, good value

Pros: Very nice and new accommodation block on the other side of the car park to the pub Cons: Couldn’t get cold water in the room, however should be easily fixable!

Very average food (breakfast included), but very helpful and friendly staff

Pros: Good beds Cons: Even though it was marked as 'good location,' it was a 20-minute walk from any place of importance. So not central at all and not ideal for families
