Fab place to stay
Pros: Breakfast was great, plenty of choice with both the continental and hot selections. Our room was comfortable and clean. Location was perfect for us... the barbican and the town were both within a short walk away. The old buildings within the hotel complex are absolutely beautiful, maintained to a high standard. The staff are all friendly and extremely helpful. Highly recommend a stay here, we are already planning our return. Cons: The only criticism is that we both found the bed far too soft. We both had a bit of a bad back in the morning. The pillows on the other hand were perfect!
