Nice stay
Pros: Really good location right by the river. Cons: Breakfast could be better. It's OK, but not impressive.
Great stay in excellent location with good food, drink, and staff.
Pros: Great location on the riverside with good access to riverside walks. Spotlessly clean with great staff. Restaurant food was good for both dinner and breakfast. Cons: There was nothing we could list here
Pros: Beautiful pub right by the river and conveniently located near the city centre. Cons: While our room itself was nice, the location was very unfortunate, right by the car park and the guest door
Pros: Beautiful pub right by the river and conveniently located near the city centre. Cons: While our room itself was nice, the location was very unfortunate, right by the car park and the guest door. We knew immediately upon check-in that we would be disturbed by slamming doors. Privacy was also an issue, so we spent the whole trip with the curtains closed. We requested to move but were told it was not possible. I booked months in advance, so I was disappointed with the room we were allocated and that there was no attempt to find a solution as we were repeatedly disturbed.
Pros: Beautiful rooms and views Cons: Unfortunately, had a room facing the road
Pros: Beautiful rooms and views Cons: Unfortunately, had a room facing the road. Too hot.
Great staff, comfortable beds, and beautiful location
The staff at Mill on the Exe were so friendly and cheerful despite our stay being during their busiest week of the year. The cleaners were also very friendly. The bedrooms are beautifully decorated, parking was easy, and you can walk to the center of Exeter in 10 minutes. Sitting on their terrace by the river is like a mini holiday. This is one of our favorite places to stay in the whole of the UK.
