specifially booked a hotel with parking, was not notified until too late to book elsewhere that construction going on at property. Had to park several blocks away, manage luggage on hills, a lot of construction noise. Hotel very dated, breakfast buffet stale and poor quality.

I made a gigantic blunder about dates when booking a room through a comparison site, and having immediately realised my blunder I contacted the comparison for help but to no avail. I then contacted the hotel directly, and my problem was sorted instantly by the gentleman who took my call. customer care. Truly excellent customer care; thank you!
