Mirage Colombo

Excellent hospitality, stunning sea views and a fantastic location, a place we would happily return to!

Pros: The staff and management were exceptionally friendly and welcoming. They truly understand what hospitality means. We loved the beautiful sea views, especially watching the sunset from the hotel. The location in Wellawatta is excellent, with many restaurants, cafés and shops nearby, and easy access to other parts of Colombo. The hotel offers very good value for money. Cons: The swimming pool water was a little colder than expected, although we still enjoyed swimming. We didn’t try the restaurant, as the prices seemed somewhat higher than the many dining options nearby.

Good and bad

Pros: Stayed 3 night- liked the room size which was big. Location was very good. Cons: Ive asked for airport shuttle service and hotel replied for flight landing detail so they could arrange transport from airport but nobody was their and we had to arrange our own transport which was an extra hassle for us. Housekeeping service wasn't good.

Pros: Beach side hotel. Far from all the chaos of Colombo. The hotel staff were very nice. The room was clean and breakfast was 8/10. The pool water was very clean and the view from there was amazing. Cons: The balconies are permanently sealed but still got a nice view from the windows. To get an unobstructed ocean view you need to go to the 2nd and 3rd floor.
