Good for one night but probably won’t use again.

Pros: Great location, excellent for the AO Arena and Opera House, plus shopping. Expected it to be noisy but it was quiet considering we stayed on a Friday night. Room was a good size with kettle, iron and ironing board - but no hairdryer! Cons: No hot water to the shower 🥶. There is a sign saying hot water is slow to reach the room but it didn’t arrive at all… Staff were lovely but we asked for two items with breakfast and they never arrived.

Great location and great value in one of manchesters character buildings..

Pros: Excellent location…5 minutes to train station and in middle of everything Cons: Only one plug for the bedside lamp so couldn’t have phone charging without unplugging lamp…grey decor throughout was a bit too gloomy…needs a rethink!

Pros: The staff were great I booked a double room for myself and a friend but was actually given a family room at no extra cost which meant we both had separate beds. The room met my expectations for the price. Cons: The building is very old which is said on the advert so some of the flooring is quite uneven. Their is lack of a decent size bin incase of any rubbish and the drinking glasses are quite small.

An absolutely disgusting, poorly maintained room with questionable cleanliness and hygiene standards that fell far below

Pros: Location was the only thing going for it Cons: Extremely Disappointing – Poor Cleanliness and Standards The moment we entered our room, we were hit by a strong smell of stale cigarette smoke. The window had been left slightly open, presumably in an attempt to air the room out. However, as shown in the photo, cigarette ends had been stuffed onto the window ledge, seemingly left behind by previous guests. This was our first impression, and unfortunately, things only got worse from there. I went to reception to complain about the smell and was given a bottle of air freshener. The carpet

Pros: Location great and the building itself was lovely and old. Cons: Lovely and old = sloping floors and a little bit of bathroom mould.
