Pros: Location Cons: When we entered the property, there was a strong bleach smell. Only the kitchen and one bedroom windows could be opened; the other windows were stuck and wouldn’t open. The property was very smelly overall, and it hadn’t been cleaned properly. The used towels were still left inside the washing machine.
Pros: The appointment was huge clean and easy to access the local community. We was able to travel to Glasgow and Edinburgh Cons: I think the mattresses on both double beds could be changed
SCAM… Completely uninhabitable
Pros: Nothing… we had to leave as soon as we could find somewhere else to go. Cons: SCAM! Don’t book!! Photos not current. The thick black mould throughout this rotting derelict building that caused a stench making it uninhabitable and a serious risk to health. The grime on furnishings that prove you do not get what is promised in photos. Twenty calls to owner and manager Heather of “Caledonia Luxe Stays” (who admitted hadn’t been to the property for over 5 months) ignored or dismissed by ‘I’m investigating’ for over a week.
