Gorgeous setting, super friendly and efficient staff. Great food. Beautiful pool. The botanic gardens, about a 10 minute walk away, are well worth the visit.

Amazing
Pros: Small scale hotel with a personal touch. Everything was fantastic. Very friendly staff. Beautiful garden. Cons: We had to get used to the night sounds of the Caribbean, with night-long serenades by whistling frogs, crickets and thrashers (that never seem to sleep), but of course you can't keep those out of your garden. If you are not used to these sounds at night, take some earplugs with you.

A world away. The perfect place to meander from the pool, to the beach, to bar(s) & restaurant(s).
Pros: Montpelier is beautifully set on the hillside, with stunning views, private villas, immaculately presented bar and restaurant areas. A feeling of space, comfort and luxury. The food and drink for breakfast, lunch and dinner were perfection. Beautifully served and gracefully presented. There is a fun and friendly vibe to the Montpelier estate as a whole. Happy interactions, great advice for alternative restaurants and bars to try. We saw it all! Montpelier also sorted our rental car for us on arrival, which we always intended to book but ran out of time. Nothing was too much bother

Pros: Breakfast was excellent
Pros: Breakfast was excellent. Included in the rate. Very fresh and lots of choice. Cons: The property felt small and very quiet. The bar and restaurant were all closed up by 9pm every night.
