Motel 6-Salem, OR

Pros: It was a roof over our head for a week Cons: Laundry units broken and covered in trash. Ice machine broken. Very dirty property.

Pros: price and location were good for our venue Cons: while their working on improvements. it still needs some upgrades

Pros: Big bathroom small bedroom. That's all good if we were spending the evening in the bathroom 🤯 Cons: The giant cockroach I killed🤐💯

Pros: Easy to get to. Cons: The facility is in desperate need of a renovation and update. I've stayed in plenty of Motel 6 locations and this one needs the most help. The homeless are very present on site. One additional disturbing item to note. Walking downstairs to leave for breakfast, noticed a steak knife on top of the garbage. Came back 30 minutes later and steak knife is gone but nothing else in the garbage was disturbed or changed.

Pros: The location was very central to our needs, it was easy to find. Cons: I booked a non smoking room. This room smelt heavily of cigarettes.. it was hard to sleep as even with the air on the smell was heavy of cigarette smoke. It became so much worse when we had our showers. The tub and toilet were littered with cigarette burns. And the floor was filthy. There was no signage to indicate that this was a non smoking room either. If this is a non smoking room it is recently so.. I would double check with the front desk if you choose to stay here incase you have a smoke allergy. We left firs
