Loved NYC but not the Motto
Pros: The staff were friendly and accommodating. Cons: The property was ok. It didn’t seem like a 4 stars. The photos online are misleading and it is a lot smaller in person. I was surprised with the high ratings. I personally did not like the neighbourhood. Some parts seemed ghetto. Location is central but overall you’re not really close to everything. If you want to do the high line and vessel it’s still a 25 to 30 min walk at a leisurely pace. The closest monument is the flatiron building which is a 5 minute walk. I would have chosen a place closer to Central Park or Times Square but not

Stayed at the Motto to move our daughter into FIT. Perfect location!
