Adequate but room for improvement.

Pros: Comfortable bed. Large room. Adequate bathroom. Well located for hills and town. Free parking. Cons: Decor was a bit tatty. Windows old and needing attention. Breakfast OK (although somewhat overcooked). Chairs in dining room stained and dirty. Some staff (by no means all) rather robotic and nervous. Asked for peppermint tea on two occasions, but were given green tea - not sure whether they had peppermint. Had to ask for more tea and sugar. All little details that made the stay not quite as perfect as we were expecting.
