Pleasant stay with room for improvement
Pros: Clean room and bathroom Comfortable beds Unique motorsport memorabilia in the breakfast area Cons: No wardrobe or even shelves in the room, just a few hangers No fridge (although the host proactively provided a mobile unit) Higher-quality bread & pastry would be nice, otherwise the breakfast was good
A great base in a quiet village from which to explore the area.
Pros: The property is in a quiet village. It’s freshly decorated and spotlessly clean. It has a heat pump system which kept the apartment cool during a very hot spell. And it’s hosted by a charming couple who can’t do enough to make your stay as pleasant as possible. Cons: The driveway down to the property is very steep and the transition from the road would ground out a sports car. Luckily, I came in a 4x4. But I’m sure the hosts would let you park in tbeir soace at the top if necessary.
