Pros: Great food and drinks. Wonderful swimming pool and spa. Tennis court is a great option too. Cons: The double bed was small and mattress is not firm enough.

Pros: Very comfortable bed
Pros: Very comfortable bed. Spa very nice. Cons: Other people staying in hotel need to be educated that their doors do not need to be physically slammed shut as the doors actually close on their own and lock themselves. Door slamming kept me awake and woke me up when I eventually fell asleep numerous times in the night and morning....

Wonderful
Pros: Everything was amazing. The facilities and staff were great. The breakfast was very nice indeed Cons: The service for lunch on the terrace was very slow and food was a little more expensive. I visited with children who were only allowed a short 1-hour window into the spa and pool which I really think should have been made clearer to us beforehand.

Pros: We came just an hour after our Wedding for a long weekend there… it’s breathtaking there with a photo in every direction the building is so historic and captured all of our wedding pics like a fairy tale!.. couldn’t fault it!! Cons: The staff are amazing and so polite and can’t do enough to make your stay perfect!.. Kris & Sarah on reception were just fantastic at their job and Pedro the waiter is incredibly talented at his job ! All of the bar staff and service staff were just brilliant making our stay in Newhall so professional and lovely people!..

Would Use as a base, as the grounds are beautiful, but the rest is very overpriced.
Pros: Rooms were painted and tidy but Carpets were tired. The bridge Restaurant Very overrated, they were trying to serve me fries instead of triple cooked chips. The Vegan Burger was awful, should not be on the menu if the execution is going to be so poor. The Grounds of the Hotel were immaculate, and staff all were very polite. The Gym was very substandard and spa area was also not much better, definitely not worth the price tag. Cons: Rooms were painted and tidy but Carpets were tired.
